Tamil Nadu: Full lockdown not required as of now, says minister


There is not any want for full lockdown as of now in Tamil Nadu. The CM has asserted that the economic system shouldn’t be affected, restricted lockdown sufficient for now, says Tamil Nadu well being minister, ANI tweeted.

In order to comprise the transmission of the virus, the state govt has prolonged Covid-19 restrictions until January 31. The night time curfew will proceed within the state until January 31 and can stay efficient from 10 pm to five am from Mondays to Saturdays. A complete lockdown shall be in power on January 16 (Sunday), barring important companies.

As per the order of the state authorities, individuals is not going to be allowed in every single place of worship between January 14 and January 18.

Tamil Nadu on Monday reported 13,990 new COVID-19 instances, 2,547 recoveries, and 11 deaths. The energetic instances are at 62,767.
