Saini launch: Minister seeks removing of AG, vigilance chief


After the Punjab and Haryana High Court ordered launch of former Punjab DGP Sumedh Singh Saini in a dishonest case, State Cabinet Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa on Friday sought removing of the Advocate General, Home Secretary and Vigilance Bureau chief for his or her “professional incompetence.” However, Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, whereas responding to Mr. Randhawa’s sharp remarks, requested the Ministers and occasion colleagues to “check facts” earlier than making any assertion.
