Qatari buyers set to bid for Manchester United- Report

Qatari buyers are planning to make an enormous bid to purchase Premier League membership Manchester United, the Daily Mail newspaper reported on Tuesday, citing unnamed sources.

The report described the buyers as “a group of private, high-wealth individuals” from Qatar, which hosted the 2022 World Cup.

Jim Ratcliffe’s firm INEOS formally entered the bidding course of to purchase United final month after the membership’s U.S. homeowners, the Glazer household, stated in November that they had begun taking a look at choices together with new funding or a possible sale.

Bloomberg News reported final month that Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), which owns Paris St Germain, was contemplating both a complete takeover or a stake in Manchester United or their rivals Liverpool.
