Top ministers and officers of Maharashtra are holding a key meet at this time to debate the rising circumstances of Covid-19 within the state. The assembly is being attended by Deputy CM Ajit Pawar together with Health Minister Rajesh Tope, as reported by information company ANI.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Tuesday mentioned the administration has determined to close faculties for Classes 1 to eight in Pune district until January 30 as a result of rise in COVID-19 circumstances. Speaking to reporters after attending the overview assembly of the COVID-19 state of affairs, Pawar, who can be the guardian minister of the district, mentioned instructing in on-line mode will proceed. The choice has come a day after the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation introduced that faculties for Classes 1 to 9 and 11 will stay shut in Mumbai until January 31

On Sunday, Maharashtra had recorded 12,160 COVID-19 circumstances and 11 deaths.
