Islamic physique strikes SC over razing of homes

Islamic organisation Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind has moved the Supreme Court in opposition to using bulldozers to raze down the homes of individuals suspected to be concerned in prison incidents similar to violence.

Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind has urged the Supreme Court to concern acceptable course to the Union of India and all states that no lasting precipitative motion be taken in opposition to any accused in any prison proceedings and concern instructions that lodging can’t be demolished as punitive measure.

In a tweet, President of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind Arshad Madani, mentioned, “Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind has filed a petition in the Supreme Court aga inst the dangerous politics of bulldozers that have been started to destroy minorities especially Muslims under the guise of crime prevention in BJP-ruled states.”


Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind, in his petition, mentioned that there has not too long ago been a rise within the incidents of demolition of residential and business properties by authorities administration in a number of states as a punitive measure in the direction of individuals purportedly concerned in prison incidents similar to riots.

According to the petition, resorting to such measures/ actions is clearly in opposition to our constitutional ethos and the prison justice system.

The petitioner additionally urged to concern instructions that anyone unconnected with the prison investigation needs to be restrained from apportioning prison duty.
