Covid-19 transmission charges in Europe ‘grave concern’: WHO


The present fee of COVID-19 transmission in Europe is of “grave concern”, the World Health Organization’s Europe head, Hans Kluge, instructed a media briefing on Thursday.

“The current pace of transmission across the 53 countries of the European Region, is of grave concern,” Kluge mentioned, including that new instances have been nearing report ranges, exacerbated by the extra transmissible Delta variant of the virus.

The WHO’s European Region spans 53 nations and territories and consists of a number of nations in Central Asia.
