GUWAHATI: The India Meteorological Department has forecast possible heavy remoted rainfall and thunder squall with wind reaching 50 to 60 kmph and hailstorm over Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur and Mizoram and sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on April 18 and 19.
According to the IMD alert, remoted heavy rainfall is prone to proceed over Assam and Meghalaya for the following 5 days.
