“Perhaps you want to understand the current situation in the state and the way many of our students and their elders are not only grappling with their lives on a daily basis but also under a lot of trauma of losing their loved ones. Under such circumstances, it is not feasible to hold SEBA and AHSEC examinations in Assam. In this regard, I recommend you to immediately formulate a mechanism or an evaluation scheme to cope with the CBSE’s internal assessment,” said Province Congress President Ripun Bora. Wrote.

Speaking to the media on Som, the state education minister said his suggestion to the scholars is to continue their studies. “We can return to the call after holding a meeting with all stakeholders from 11 am tomorrow (Tuesday). We are going to implement an SOP to its effect,” the minister said.

Last week, the state’s chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had said that a call would be taken on conducting the exams after CBSE announced the modalities for marking students. He also said that by the end of December, all interested residents of the province are vulnerable as additional COVID vaccines will come within the state from this month.
When asked whether the Assam Class 12 exams would be held or not, Sarma said a call would be taken in this regard after consultations with all stakeholders.
On June 1, the Center decided to cancel the CBSE Class 12 board exams due to the COVID situation. The chief minister of the province welcomes the choice and also said that he will “wait until CBSE announces the modalities for marking students”.
“As a parent one would be forced to take a sensible call and scholars to keep in mind that the UN agency shoots for pursuing medical or engineering courses and what is going to be the admission criteria for them,” That was what he had.
Senior officials of the education department say that the safety of the students will be the biggest concern. However, while not evaluating, he said, it would produce issues for scholars to be registered in the faculties. The urban center has become the most popular destination for the province’s degree students.
“In Assam, especially in class 12 school, the thing is, if we have a tendency to not communicate AN, will we give them marks? State Education Department principal secretary, B Kalyan Chakraborty said, there is a need to conduct at least everyday assessment in CBSE.
