New Delhi: Two youths from the Arunachal’s Anjaw district haven’t returned house since August this yr after they ventured out within the jungle in quest of native medicinal crops close to the state’s border with China.

“We’re doubting that they crossed the Indian boundary and were abducted by China. We appeal to the central government to help trace them,” stated the elder brother of one of many lacking youths.

BJP MLA Dasanglu Pul stated that the 2 youths are lacking since 20 August and an FIR has been filed within the case.
“They’re missing s ince 20 August. They went to get local medicine in the forest. The police have filed an FIR. We’ve spoken to Arunachal Pradesh’s East MP Tapir Gao, chief minister and deputy chief minister and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. Efforts to bring them back are on,” stated Pul.

In July this yr, one labourer died and 18 others went lacking close to the India-China border in Arunachal Pradesh`s Kurung Kumey district. The labourers who had been engaged in highway development in Arunachal Pradesh’s Kurung Kumey district.
In one other case, a 17-year-old youth Miram Tarom of Zido in Arunachal Pradesh was reportedly captured by the Chinese PLA throughout the Line of Actual Control in January 2022.
He was later returned to India after the Indian Army contacted the Chinese Army to return the youth.
